Up for your buying pleasure is a Colt Shooting Master in .38 Special, in wonderful shape. The Shooting Master was introduced in 1931 as a competition revolver for the NRA Camp Perry matches. This was the most expensive revolver in Colt's catalog at the time. It has adjustable front and rear sights with factory stippled front and back straps and checked trigger. There were approximately 3,500 made across all calibers. This SM with an interesting serial number of 333331, was made in 1932 according to Colt's . Finish rates about a 95% with some surface scratches and minor wear. Case hardening color can be seen on the hammer.
