The M1891/59 (or M91/59) is a carbine version of the Mosin Nagant, a rifle which has gained notoriety throughout the world. The Mosin was developed and entered production in 1891 and can still be found on battlefields to this day. The Nagant rifle was one of the most mass-produced rifles in the history of the world, and the design has a few different variants.
The M1891/59 version of the Mosin is a carbine-length rifle that features a 20-inch barrel. The M1891/59 differs from the M38 and M44 carbines in that both aforementioned carbines are ground up built and designed as shorter barrel carbines. However, the M1891/59 rifles, which started life out as M1891 or M91/30 full-length rifles, had their barrels trimmed down to 20-inches at the factory.
This M91/59 is in excellent condition and has a sling.
