Description:
This Springfield M1 Garand SN 3815589 was Mfg in June of 1945. The stock is in good condition and is completely serviceable it has plenty of dings and dents as most of these used military rifles have but it has retained it's springfield armory markings on the left side and the P stamp on the pistol Grip, It also has a BA-BD with the Crossed cannons on the bottom of the pistol grip. The barrel is stamped 3-S-A-2-44 and has a good bore with a muzzle reading of 3 and a throat reading of only 3+ this should make a great shooter. The trigger mechanism is stamped SA but the trigger Guard has a WRA stamp on it. The receiver on this rifle on this rifle is in very Good condition with minimal to no pitting where the wood and metal meet. The Serial # Stampings are nice and crisp. Function checked and armory certified 6-23-22.This is a great rifle to take to the range and have some fun.
As with all M1 Garands, make sure you are shooting the correct pressure ammo for the rifle system. Please ask about our Original 1953 M1 Garand Non Corrosive Ammo in Clips and bandoliers.
