Accompanied by an orig Winchester socket bayonet that has 18-1/2 inch tapered triangle blade and is finished bright. This bayonet will fit this carbine but will not fit a standard carbine. These carbines were mostly sold into South America. 20 inch round barrel that is mostly a brown patina with a VG bore. Receiver has smooth metal with a mostly plum/brown color to it. Original sights, saddle ring and dust cover. Crisp action. Wood is in good shape having been freshened a long time ago. Also included is a 3 piece cleaning rod in the butt stock. A very hard to find half mag SRC complete with socket bayonet and cleaning rod! This collectable Winchester was made in 1881. You just might need this one to complete your carbine collection.
