Description:
This break action side-by-side double barrel shotgun is marked "Geco" and is chambered in 16 Gauge. It contains the superimposed "SS" stamping on the water table. It is also stamped "Nitro" which indicates it is for smokeless powder. The barrels are marked "Krupp Laufstahl" (Laufstahl means fluid steel, not damascus steel) and is the manufacturer of the steel in the barrels. The butt stock has a round knob, a Monte Carlo style check rest, original sling loops top and bottom, a round bead fixed front sight, and beautiful game birds engraving on the receiver. The date code indicates that it was manufactured in 1932. It is in good condition overall showing a great patina, with no apparent rust. The butt stock does show some scratches, but the high gloss finish is very much intact. 16 Gauge
