This is a well used S&W K frame pre model 10 five screw revolver, chambered in .38 Special. It was a rough bunny when the gunsmith picked it out of a parts bin. He took it apart, cleaned it up, shortened the barrel, installed a detent to help lock the cylinder in place, gave it a trigger job and parkerized it. The grips are real mother of pearl. It shoots straight, looks good and has a great trigger. All of $400 work into it, even without the gun. $35 shipping to the lower 48, 3% surcharge for using a CC.
