S O L D ................."PERCUSSION" HIGH CONDITION SHARPS NEW MODEL 1863 Civil War RIFLE....LAYAWAY? .......SERIAL NUMBER C31927. BARREL 30". CALIBER 52. Serial number falls flat in middle of New Model 1863 run. Standard features include a round barrel with no bayonet lug, Lawrence rear sight, three band, sling swivels, walnut stocks, patch box. Barrel stamped New Model 1863. Left side of stock has (3) sharp Civil War era cartouche along with post war inspection stamped of David Clark in ribbon. Wood to metal fit is impeccable and obviously factory done.
CONDITION. Case colors are still present and vivid in areas with balance silvered out. Legends are sharp as new. Most screws still have some fire blue intact.. Barrel shows blue that has blended with smooth clean patina with no cancer of any kind. Stocks are excellent with just minimal impressions. Brilliant case colors still present on patch box.
