Here we have a top break Harrington & Richardson 22 Special double action revolver chambered in .22 long rifle caliber. This 7 shot revolver is mechanically excellent with a solid action and very tight lock up in the fired position. Most of the metal wear is on the barrel. With the "saw handle" grip it appears to be a 1st variation gun (c. 1926-1928). The 6 inch barrel has finish worn off mostly on the right side, bottom and at the muzzle. The bore is very good with strong rifling. The wood grip panels are in outstanding condition with no chips or cracks. Sights are a simple notch rear and blade front. This fine revolver is unique and would make a great addition to an existing collection or a strong way to start a new one.
