****SOLD**** Presented here is a very minty Thompson Center Contender G2 single-shot pistol chambered in the powerful .45-70 caliber. Thompson Center makes some of the most accurate and precise single-shot firearms available today. This rig is in outstanding condition and would make an excellent big-game setup. The venerable .45-70 can be loaded up for bears or hogs and loaded lighter for deer-sized game. The 12 1/2-inch barrel has a strong bore, is topped with an UltraDot UD30 red dot, and features a muzzle break to help tame the felt recoil. The wood is a very attractive laminate and the forend is accented with a contrasting tip.
