STUNNING, CUSTOM FANCY SHILOH SHARPS 1874 No. 1 SPORTING RIFLE IN .45-70 CALIBER. As a Shiloh dealer, I actually ordered and later shipped this rifle with #87XXB to a customer in October of 2020. He later contacted me and said he'd never fired the rifle, but for personal reasons needed to sell it. So, here it is. The No. 1 Sporter comes standard with double set triggers, pistol grip stock with cheek piece and shotgun butt. This rifle was special ordered with the following options: 30" heavy octagon barrel with no rear sight dovetail, extra fancy walnut, AA finish, checkered steel shotgun butt plate, pewter forend tip, brass escutcheons around the wood screws, accent line on the cheek piece, bone and charcoal pack harden case colors, polished barrel, polished/fire blued screws, and Shiloh factory mounted Montana Vintage Arms #103 Long Range Buffalo Soule tang sight with #113 globe/spirit level front sight with inserts and an adjustable aperture Hadley eye disc. A truly beautiful custom rifle that would have a current catalog price of over $5600 with a long 2+ year wait and probable price increases along the way on both rifle and sights.
