This Springfield Garand , Serial No 545XXX, was mfg abt 3/42, cal 30.06 w/ M-15 Grenade Sight Assembly Kit.(See Pics).
It has British markings of BNP 30/06 2194 w/ upsidedown barrel date of "S-A-3-42". The guns bluing is the correct gray-
Olive tone parkerizing throughout all parts. The Buttstock has the correct cartouche of "SA/GHS" w/the adjacent Cross
Cannons & w/the correct milled band. It also has the correct circled "P" at the grip. The action is tight. The bore meas ".75" &
the throat is "2".
