SOLD!!!!!!!This rifle s the most accurate lever action I ever owned/seen. It was test fired off hand from 50 yards three times and as you can see the third bullet went through the second bullet hole, specatular grouping (the ramp for the rear sight was on the lowest setting when test firing).
The bore is bright and shiny with strong riflings.
The mechanism works smooth and it looks like the day it left the factory.
The bluing on the receiver is faded around the edges from being carried/ stowed.
I would rate the bluing overall 97%.
The wood on the stock is the most gorgeous I've seen for a lever action, looks even better in person.
I would rate the wood overall condition 99%.
According to the serial number the rifle was manufactured in 1952.
The rifle in it's entirety is in really nice condition and all parts are original.
