Anitque Bowie Knife, commissioed by William Cody for his Wild West Shows back at the end of the Old West.
Has an 11" blade with sterling silver tang and caps with stag handle and original scabard sheath.
Engraved on right side with date, stars, name, etc.
Rare not many ever produced.
Took this to the Collector West Show years ago and it appraiased at $4300. Is $1200 fair?
