Unless otherwise stated, our guns are not test fired as we have no facility for that. We inspect the firearm and it's action to see if everything appears functional but they are sold without warranty as we have no ammunition to test them with. Unless the item is listed as being sold AS-IS, there is a 3 Day Non-Shooting Inspection Period which starts when the item arrives at your dealer. No shooting, no disassembly. Visual inspection only to confirm correct item and that it matches description in major ways. Minor differences in subjective matters like percent of condition, etc, and personal opinions like ergonomics, fit to your hand or shoulder, etc, do not justify returns. Once you take the item home it is yours and no returns will be allowed. Items listed with AS-IS label are not returnable. We will not issue refunds for unknown mechanical problems. We do not refund original or return shipping if an item is returned. We do not refund transfer fees or credit card fees. Due to high shipping costs we do not ship handguns to C&R licensees.

Here is a good condition Remington 700 1st year rifle chambered in 243 WIn. This rifle is date coded OJ which comes out at July 1962 and given the serial # 18382 that appears to match up correctly. The rifle has been used and hunted with and is missing the rear sight but there are Redfield rings and bases installed so it will be easy to add a scope. The bore looks good and this riflke is ready to be back in the field or to rest in your collection. Great early Remington 700. FREE SHIPPING!
