Description:
Gun features the correct 2 1/4 inch barrel fitted with mother of pearl grips. This gun features beautiful scroll punch dot background engraving done by Colt master engraver Cuno A. Helfricht. Generally the caliber marking is on the bottom of the barrel however you'll find this gun has the caliber marking on the bottom of the grip. They apparently didn't want to mess up the engraving with the caliber marking. Has the typical Colt two line barrel address. Mechanical function is excellent and overall gun is in excellent condition with 90% original silver finish remaining with the balance having flaked off in areas. This is a Second Model New Line and these were made from 1876-1884.
