S&W Model 40 (no dash) fitted with a 1 7/8 inch barrel, smooth walnut grips with S&W medallions, concealed hammer with grip safety, is blue finished, and chambered in .38 Special. This early 1960's vintage, 5-shot double action revolver is in excellent condition, retaining 99% blue. The bore looks as new and the action functions the same. The grips number to the gun and are in excellent condition, retaining all of their finish, with only a few minor handling marks. Sorry, no box or paper-work.
