PRICE REDUCED FROM $ 5100 TO $ 4800 ! Pre war 1937 Model 70 in .22 Hornet caliber, all original and unmodified. Has correct rear and front sight. Minor wear to the bluing on small area of the floor plate as evidenced in the photos. There is a small amount of freckling on the rear of the receiver where a sight would be mounted that is not discernable to the touch. Otherwise, the bluing exhibits very little wear for being manufactured 85 years ago. The wood has very nice grain, with crisp checkering and no major blemishes or marks. The bolt serial matches the gun; the bore and other internals are in excellent condition. Underside of floorplate correctly stamped "H".
