*SOLD* Scarce transition era 30-06 with custom stock by Pacific Research. LOP is 13 1/4". S/N 62*** with matching bolt made in 1947. Excellent condition overall with only minor handling marks. Bore and mechanical functions are also excellent. Factory drilled and tapped for your choice of scope/mounts. These "transition" era rifles were produced for only a short period (about 1946-48) following WWII and have several interesting features including the pre war style clover leaf shaped receiver tang and a unique "clam shell" aka "rabbit's foot" safety lever. This rifle is virtually identical to the one that I carry in the sheep hills here in Alaska. Mine is relatively lightweight, weatherproof, and very accurate.
