Description:
Rare early 8ga from the same fine old collection as some of the others, this fine 8 Gauge by T. Golcher made with beautiful 36" Bernard Damascus barrels. Made with nicely checkered splinter forearm that has engraved Deely latch release. Full sidelock action is nicely scroll engraved as are hammer and top lever. Round ball pistol grip buttstock is nicely checkered and terminates with its original horn buttplate.
Overall, the gun remains in nice original condition. Barrels are very good with about 75% of their nice original pattern. Action with traces of original case colors remaining, engraving is still excellent. Stocks are sound with numerous marks and knicks as seen in the photos with original finish.
