1995 Browning SA22 Semi Auto .22 LR Takedown rifle High Grade wearing a 19.25 inch Blued barrel with Silver and Gold engraved receiver. Hand checkered high grained Walnut stock with black steel butt plate. Downward ejection of spent cartridges allows open side panels on receiver for gorgeous engraving with Gold inlays. Top of receiver depicts a Lab Retreiver in Gold , Right panel depicts a Fox and Squirrel scene in Gold , Left panel shows a hunting dog chasing a Rabbit also in Gold. Trigger guard has Browning Gold Logo , all with rich outdoor scenes as background. The SA22 model based on a John Browning patent has been in production since 1914 and first imported to US shooters in 1956.
This rifle remains in excellent used condition with minor handling marks to the wood, engraving and inlays remain bright with Blued surfaces at 98%. Rifle comes in numbered to gun factory box in good condition. A real gem of a .22 rifle that I would of cut my arm off to own as a young farm boy in the way back years.
