This is truly a rare find. 300 Win Mag 50th anniversary special edition model 70, rumored to have been owned by Ted Williams (provenance has not yet been confirmed) this rifle has the same SN as the famous Ted Williams Red Sox Jersey "09" the story that came with it when I purchased it was ted Williams was the previous owner. This firearm has never been shot. Comes with the original box, warranty letter, and Hanging tags! It also includes An original copy of the 1987 Winchester gun catalog featuring this "Riflemans Rifle" special edition on the front cover. This rifle is in Mint original unfired condition and features beautiful scroll engraving. I have started to research the provenance of this rifle if confirmed the value will more than double.
