R Johnson Percussion converted Pistol Dated 1843. Stamped barrel US/JH/P with a 6 on the hammer and B on the barrel. This one is very clean with the wooden stock being not mint but very clean The metal has a peppered finish which is pleasing to the eye.The Action works crisply and properly in all positions, Ramrod is tight and complete. Most likely used in the Mexican Warof 1846 and the Civil War. Designed for shooting and bonking, gotta love these!
