Description:
For sale is a Cody Museum lettered Winchester 1885 born May 1886. This is a 30" #3 octagon barreled single shot falling block rifle in 38-55 caliber. The bore is good with strong rifling. The barrel finish is blue and pristine, The receiver is faded to a mostly grey finish with no pitting. The forearm and buttstock has some nice figure with minimal dings. There is a dry crack in the grain on the right side of the buttstock. The gun is equipped with a single set trigger which functions as designed, Also a Marble tang sight has been added. This firearm is antique and may be shipped directly to you provided your local laws allow such. Ensure it is legal for you to receive this gun directly. Shipping is via USPS ground insured and tracked for $75. Sales to Alaska require additional charges. No sale to Hawaii or other locations that prohibit purchase of this firearm.
