Here is a rare single shot Bullard. Caliber is .38- 55 with an excellent bore. Overall the gun is in very fine condition. Bullard rifles are quite scarce but beautifully made. This particular gun is pictured and described in the Jamieson book, Bullard Rifles, pages 172-174, a copy of which comes with the rifle. The book is in error when it describes this rifle as being built in .38-55 and rebored to .45-70. As this rifle was set up to use interchangable barrels, perhaps at one time this rifle had a .45-70 barrel on it but the .38-55 barrel is factory original. I have dissasembled the rifle and all serials match. Sights are original. Everything works though I have not fired this rifle. $100 shipping and insurance to the lower 48.
