Description:
These early post war FN bolt rifles are superb quality, unmatched by any factory rifles today. Outstanding Fit and finish with appears to be cold rust blue. Belgium produced. Browning eventually took over the line, bulked them up, made them heavier so they were longer the rifle they once were. These early FN bolt rifles remain a fierce competitor to the pre-64 model 70 Winchesters. This particular version is in 30-06 with an excellent bore. Stock shows a spots were finish is thin but no cracks. Scope base is mounted in factory holes, no extra holes. The scope is not very good and should be replaced, older 4X weaver. Early bolt wing safety and stepped barrel. $1298 plus $50 insured shipping. No credit cards and no trades. 5 month layaway available. C&R ok.
