Description:
This is a Winchester Model 21 20 Ga. 26" double barrel shotgun that is marked Tournament on the receiver bottom. The Tournament only marking was only made a few years and is a scarce variation. This one has the original Tournament grade stock with nice figure and has the beavertail forend. Checkering is original. as is the stock finish. Winchester hard pad is added. LOP is 14" and it weighs in at 6 Lbs. and 8 Oz. Drop at heel is 2" even. It shoots 2 3/4" shells or shorter. Bores are excellent! Mirror bright and no dents. It has only ever fired lead, never steel shot. This is a one family owner gun. I acquired it from a elderly local man who was given the gun by his father who we believe purchased it new. The blue was redone at some point years ago and looks very nice. Barrels too. Twin beads with the red bead on the front are original. SST and Ejectors and Non-automatic safety are all working very nicely. This gun is smooth and tight. Stock wood and forearm are solid no cracks ever. All matching numbers. Believe it was made in about 1936. The gun presents itself well. Much nicer in my view that an over restored gun. It just looks right. And points and handles even better. I am Oregon Lumberjack on the other big site with 1000's of positive feedbacks. Price is $7500 and shipping is $100 with insurance included in that.
