August 1944 Production Colt 1911A1. Shipped to Springfield Armory. Gun is in original as issued condition with most of the original gray parkerized finish throughout. All small parts are Colt and original to the gun. Barrel is marked Colt Auto 45 and F in front of the lugs. Overall a great example of an original Colt produced at the height of the Second World War!
