Fresh out of the woodwork from a Tennessee Navy Veteran Estate, we have a super nice example of a August/September production Colt 1911A1. This pistol is matching top to bottom and features all Colt Checkered small parts. This 7-Digit Colt is a numbers matching example. Produced at the height of Colts production in World War Two! Barrel bed wear on the Colt F marked barrel matches perfectly.
A banner example of what was carried in World War Two by the greatest generation. The men that carried these are all but gone. This gun will really speak to you....I almost kept it for myself.
