The Browning® AB3™ Composite Stalker Bolt-Action Rifle is a no-frills hunting rifle that's big on performance. The AB3 bolt assembly utilizes Browning's famous anti-bind bolt with 3 locking lugs (instead of 2 on Mauser-type actions). 3 locking lugs allow a short 60° bolt handle lift for fast cycling and increased scope clearance. The knob's shape is slightly flattened and canted at an ergonomic 30° angle that fits the hand naturally. This smooth-operating bolt will never bind up at the moment of truth. The button-rifled, free-floated barrel delivers precision accuracy. The Composite Stalker comes with a rugged, matte black, weather-resistant synthetic stock with molded-in texturing on the fore-end and pistol grip. The barrel and receiver are blued with a non-reflective matte finish. Browning's Inflex Technology™ recoil pad tames recoil considerably. A detachable staggered box magazine allows quick re-loading. The Browning AB3 Composite Stalker Bolt-Action Rifle utilizes a top-tang safety with a bolt unlock button that allows you to open the bolt for loading or inspection with the tang safety in the safe position. The receiver comes drilled and tapped for scope mounts using two 8-40 screws for each base, providing a rock-solid attachment point for optic sights. Manufactured 2018. 6.5 Creedmoor
