Description:
Winchester Mode 1895 chambered in .30 Govt 03. The Model 1895 features a box magazine that instead of the tubular magazine design. This allows the rifle to safely chamber military and hunting cartridges with spitzer (pointed) bullets. The M1895, designed by John Browning, has the strongest action for a Winchester lever action rifle. The increased strength was needed to handle the increased pressures generated by powerful smokeless powder cartridges that were available. This rifle appears to be professionally refinished with a beautiful walnut stock and forearm, and a very deep blued finish. None
