Description:
Serial #1252, .30-06, 26" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1967-made rifle that has retained 99% plus of the original blue with only some trace fading along the sides of the lever latch attesting to any use. The checkered, beavertail forend is properly numbered on the interior, and the wood has almost no handling marks or blemishes marring the original finish. The checkered, pistol-grip buttstock is in commensurate condition, and has an excellent, original red Ruger recoil pad as well. The rifle comes with the original QD sling swivels, and is also accompanied by the correct, early type, vertical split 1" scope rings. The rifle is accompanied by a 2022 dated Ruger factory letter that gives a production date of August, 1967, with shipment to Jurek Bros. Inc. of Greenfield, MA. This is a fabulous, almost unused, first year of production No. 1, and would make a splendid addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
