Has name os William C. Guinea scratched on patchbox.. After looking up the name on Soldiers and Sailers data, only one W. Guinea was listed. He was in Co. B, 157th Ohio Infantry. I don't have the time for more research, but with the last name "Guinea", it shouldn't take a lot of time..... .....BARREL 33 1/4". CALIBER .54 Lock marked E. Whitney US , N. HAVEN 1848. .....Features two brass bands, ramrod, full length walnut stock, brass patch box, iron hardware. Brass patchbox has: extra nipple....bullet worm and bullet screw. Worth over $100 alone! NO CCR NEEDED ...Bore is dirty with rust. I sprayed it with Rem Oil, hoping to let it soak, to clean out more. s/h $55 .....2nd firearm ships FREE, with this one!...Thanks, Greg
