Description:
A superb example of the rare Model 1879 German Reichsrevolver. This one was one of only about 2500 made by Mauser for Bavaria under an 1880 contract and has a Bavarian Artillery Unit Mark on the Butt. Mauser made guns are extremely scarce and seldom seen. It is 100 percent matching and in excellent condition inside and out. A good 90 percent blue remaining. This one was made in 1882. It has a really excellent bore, bright with strong rifling. Mechanically excellent with crisp action and solid lock-up. The best example I have seen. Antique so no FFL required. This German cartridge was a duplicate of the .44 Russian.
