The serial number dates this rifle to 1913. The gun remains in good conditionand has a very good bore. The bluing on the barrel is good and the receiver is very good with just some thinning and a few marks. The action works perfectly and the gun is mechanically excellent. The wood is very good and does not have any cracks, dents or chips. This is an above-average Winchester Model 1892 and has been part of my family's collection for over 100 years.
