About Us: I am an individual who is retiring and starting the Swedish Death Sale (downsizing) - to roam around in my Airstream during my autumn years until I can't anymore. My kids have enough firearms and don't want more, so... I am selling all of them except my SxS.

Description:
I hunted with this rifle a lot - as much as with my 6.5x55 SM. It is extremely accurate with the BOSS. Please note this is the Eurobolt version of the A-Bolt II and is rare. I have hunted mule deer and elk with it (elk before I bought a .375 H&H and then a .338 RUM - both also listed for sale here).

This rifle has a 1-piece American walnut stock, Monte Carlo cheek piece, pistol grip and Schnabel fore end. There are no caps on the pistol grip or Schnabel fore end. The barrel is 24" long with a 1:9.25 twist rate and a BOSS.  Rifle SN: 51234NWP17,

The scope is a Zeiss Diavari 3-12x56 T*, 30mm tube with a rail and a #4A illuminated reticule. Scope SN: 2576183.

The scope mounts are Ernst Appel Wurzburg (EAW) pivot mounts, and yes, the scope returns to zero every time it is removed for travel!
Includes the soft carrying case, original bikini scope cover and Levy's leather sling.

As with all my bolt guns, I endeavour to reload to get <1MOA groupings. My proven loads:
Sierra GameKing 160gr SBT, COAL 3.280", IMR 4831, 60gr, .25 MOA (BOSS set to 5.0) - for practice.
Barnes 160gr X, COAL 3.210", IMR 4831, 60gr, .25 MOA (BOSS set to 5.5) - for hunting. Yes, the original X. Requires more barrel cleaning, but they are more accurate than the TSX.

And, yes, no BSing, I have achieved .25 MOA with this rifle with both loads. The BOSS really works.

As you can see, it is extremely accurate with the BOSS. I have put around 500 rounds through this rifle since owning it. I bought it used around 2000 and have lovingly taken care of it. The kick is very manageable. There are slight handling marks on the rifle and scope. This mounting is the first time the scope rail.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW: This rifle has a personality. The first shot (cold barrel) is always 6" high at 100 yards. The second shot is always 2" high at 100 yards and the third short (warm barrel) is bang on (200 yard zero). Don't ask me why, because I have not figured it out. Worse shooting downhill or uphill. I missed a lot of game until I just accetped it. You need to know it and accept it too. Trust me. It's the way she is.

I am ex military and break in / clean barrels of all my guns for accuracy as marksmanship is a passion for me.

PLEASE NOTE: I prefer we talk on the phone about the rifle, scope and mounts before you commit to buying it. Maybe we could video conference over Zoom or WhatsApp to answer any questions and show a live video relative to your questions. I'd like to ensure you are aware of what you are buying before you buy it to avoid a return please.

Please see my other bolt and lever guns as I get them listed.
