Description:
Exceptionally well preserved JC Higgins Model 45 (1958-1961) in 30-30 (30WCF) which is a Marlin 336. Has the desirable Ballard style early rifling style which is preferred for cast bullets, maybe cowboy action shooting. Metal is very, very nice, retaining almost all the factory blue. Wood is solid with no cracks or major dents or scratches and retains perhaps 1/2 of the original varnish.
Has a see thru mount setup with a Bushnell 4x scope and a standard crosshair, not a duplex, but nice and clear optics. Rifle is pretty well sighted and ready to go hunting too. Bore is bright and shiny. Need FFL and certified funds for immediate shipment to your FFL. Personal and business checks wait a week to clear- sorry no credit cards anymore.
