Up for your consideration is a Ruger # 1 in.223. The gun is is very good condition and excellent working condition. This is a used gun and will show signs of use. It has numerous fine usage marks in the wood but I can find no cracks or gouges. The metal shows some thinning at the front of the barrel and there are a couple of scratches in the blueing. The worst defect is the owner chose to grind down the barrel to fit his/her scope instead of buying higher rings. The area is cold blued and is not very noticable but it is there just the same. This does not affect functionality or accuracy, but I have price it accordingly. There are no rings with the gun as this is how it was when I traded for it. I have no history on this gun and have not fired it, but you have a three day inspection privilege and can return for any reason (you will incur shipping cost both ways). Please review the numerous high quality photos to judge the condition for yourself. I make very closeup photos of troubled areas.Trades for other high quality bolt action rimfires would be considered. I collect Anschutz, Cooper, Canyon Creek, and Kimber. Let me what you have. Money can go either way. Please ask questions before buying. Let me know if you require additional photos. Sold only where legal to own and you are expected to know your local laws.
