****SOLD**** Here is a beautiful and unfired Colt 1911 Model 1918 WWI reproduction chambered in .45acp. Manufactured in 2008, this Colt is an accurate reproduction of the Model 1911 US military sidearm that was manufactured in 1918. This pistol features a 5" barrel, GI components, WWI roll marks, checkered hardwood grips, and a black oxide finish. The black oxide finish is in excellent condition across the entirety of the firearm and shows the faintest amount of handling wear. The WWI roll marks are incredibly crisp and legible, and the checkered hardwood grips fit very nicely to the frame. The grips are in like-new condition and show no signs of cracks, chips, repairs, or wear. The bore is bright, with sharp rifling, and all the controls function 100%. This Colt 1911 includes the original blue box, outer sleeve, paperwork, and one magazine. Unfortunately, the original owner misplaced the second magazine. This Colt is an excellent representative piece of WWI history and would make an outstanding addition to any collection.
