Description:
24 inch octagon barrel chambered in 38 WCF caliber with a Good to VG bore with strong rifling and light roughness. Special order features include button mag. There is quite a rare sight which I haven't seen very often. It is a non-flipping brass globe front sight with post. Rear sight is standard and there is a Marble tang sight. A somewhat early 73 in the 190k serial range. This is a good looking gun that shows it's age but was well cared for. There is a blue/brown color on the barrel. The receiver is mostly a pleasing brown with blue peeking out in protected areas. Wood is nice fitting but has a large gouge on the right side in the comb area. A coat of some sort of old style shellac was added years ago. Forearm is nice with no cracks or losses. Nice action. Made in 1885.
