Excellent overall condition. 1903A4 Bolt Action Sniper Rifle with Scope and Presentation Plaque from the White House Police. "RA/flaming bomb/12-43" barrel, Weaver K4 scope (optics cloudy). Wearing a metal plaque on the right of the buttstock inscribed "PRESENTED TO/PAUL K. RIFFLE/BY HIS FRIENDS/THE WHITE HOUSE POLICE/MAY, 1864". A 1940 census indicating someone with that name, born in 1916, was located in Washington, D.C. No further information has been located at the present time relating to Paul K. Riffle.
