***SOLD*** US Springfield Krag Carbine .30-40 Krag bolt action US service rifle, dated to 1899. This rifle is the carbine configuration of the classic Krag rifle, and features a solid walnut stock, military blued finish, and a Krag bolt action mechanism with a unique flip-open internal magazine system. The rifle appears to be an original carbine, with a correct stock and barrel configuration, however the rear sight appears to be a later addition. The handguard piece is missing as well. Some areas of finish wear and can be seen, however the action is fully operable and the bore looks good. Please refer to the photos for overall condition. A very cool collectible rifle! C&R OK.
