Fine to Excellent condition - rifle
- 24" STAR GUAGE" barrel dated SA 6-24 barrel
- full length pistol grip with upper hand guards, equipped with sling swivels and post war adjustable leather sling, and smooth iron trapdoor buttplate (includes period authentic cleaning kit);
stock is marked with "G.H.D." in rectangle box on left side of wrist and 2 Ordnance crossed canons cartouche on left side of wrist and buttstock, Circle "P" just behind trigger guard
- barrel band/bayonet lug retain about 99%+ Parkerized finish
- barrel retains about 85% blue finish
- receiver retains traces of blue in protected areas balance to soft plum patina
- Sights: front blade sight/Lyman No. 48 rear sight
- "Style B" - bolt action - "J5" nickel steel bolt
- Excellent bright and shiny bore
- mechanics appear to be in good working order
