With its straight pull, action and modular design, the Blaser R8 marks an innovative departure from traditional bolt action rifles. In the interest of the utmost safety, the trigger assembly and magazine are combined in one, easily removable unit. Removal of the magazine, thereby, renders the R8 mechanically unable of discharge. The rearmost section of barrel is scalloped for Blaser's proprietary optics mounting system. Characterized by state-of-the-art materials and design, this piece is sure to offer performance of the highest caliber. This is a new firearm. .300 Winchester Magnum
