From a mid-west sale, a 1898 US Springfield Krag Saddle Ring Carbine 30 Army (30/40 Krag) Cal. . The stock is solid with not chips or deep craks (see photo). The 22" barrel is royal blue and there are traces of color case on the receiver. The action functions butter smooth. The barrel of the rife has been replaced or modified with a modern adjustable rear and front sight (see photos). I have not cleaned this rifle or taken it apart (see photos) I am far from an expert but, although this rifle has been used, it appears to have been well maintained therefore, although I can not guarantee the originality of the barrel, I am offering it with a 100% satisfaction guarantee, if it does not live up to your expectations in any way return it for a full and speedy refund including your return shipping (see my feedback).
