PRICE REDUCED TO $900! This Civil War era Ball & Willliams .44 RF carbine is not completely original: the trigger guard/lever have been altered, the original extractor knob is missing and the breechblock stamp does not match the Serial Number on the barrel (SN 8840). The forend may have been altered at some time, and part of the rear sight is missing. The bore is rough with visible rifing. The Ball and Williams stamp on the top of the half-octagonal barrel is faint but visible, the serial number is stamped on the barrel above the chamber and on the front of the receiver top. No identifying stamps are visible on the action sides. If you want higher-detail photos, message me with an email address and I'll send them. This is an antique carbine for which ammunition is no longer available, so can be shipped to an individual without going through an FFL or C&R holder.
