This rifle was made by Elisha Green (b. 1809, d. October 1, 1872) who was born in Haywood County, North Carolina; worked in East Tennessee, and worked and died in Fannin County, Georgia. He died on 1 October 1872.
This rifle is in "as found" condition from the mountains of Northern Georgia. Previous owner claimed it was carried in the Civil War. Please contact me if you have questions.
