Description:
The full-size SIG Sauer P250 DAO semi-automatic has models chambered for .357 SIG, .40 S&W, .45 ACP and 9 mm. It debuted around 2007 and was hailed as masterpiece of modularity and flexibility. For good reason, some said it was the most revolutionary semi-automatic in years. The fulcrum of praise landed on the gun's modularity. The central point is the stainless-steel upper receiver/interchangeable trigger group (also referred to as the Firing Control Unit or FCU) that houses key parts like the trigger, internal hammer, etc. Interestingly, only this component is serialized. SIG calls this the frame. In contrast, what many of us might consider the frame, SIG calls the Grip Module Assembly. The Grip Module Assembly is the polymer structure that encompasses the beavertail, trigger guard, grip, accessory rail, etc. .40 S&W
