All original rifle in the 2,429,xxx range for Jan, 1944 production with original 4 groove barrel date stamped “3-S-A-1-44”. Excellent plus with nearly all the original Parkerizing and wood (matching) with all the original finish. Original Army Ordnance “CROSSED CANNONS” cartouche on left side of stock. Perfect working order and excellent bore. Extra nice pre D-Day Garand.
