Small quantity made just after WW1 for commercial consumption until 1921 when Danzig factory was dismantled and moved to Poland. 24" stepped barrel with factory front ramp and rear leaf sight. Original front sling swivel and rear. Military style non hinged floorplate with excellent screws. Barrel stamped "Germany" same as it is (font/size) on right side of buttstock parallel with steel buttplate(original) in wood from the period of commercial sale as typical for German EXPORT. Case colored receiver and bolt original with Imperial German Eagle proof then serial number "552X" and "Gewehrfabrik Danzig" as it should appear. Matching bolt number and Imperial German proof with tight lock-up. Serial stamped under forearm(matching) wood is correct with crisp checkering, schnable forend, oval reinforcement panels, small round knob, cheekrest and along with "Germany" has Crown over G stamp behind triggerguard. Original Dbl set triggers, 14" LOP from front trigger. Perfect working order and I must emphasize absolutely mint bore and rifling. Prime example of Danzig commercial sporter in 8mm Mauser never been altered or drilled just like the day it left factory.
