Description:
New in hard case! 56/50 Spencer Carbine. LIKE NEW. NEVER FIRED. It has Dixie Gun Works stamped on the barrel. This is a Taylor’s recreation of a firearm first produced by Christopher Miner Spencer, one of the leading figures of the machine tool industry. When Spencer originally produced an 1860 model carbine, it was different from any other firearm. It was accurate, fired rapidly, and held seven metallic cartridges in a magazine tube hidden in the butt stock. In 1865, the gun maker delivered the 1865 Spencer Carbine, modified to correct flaws inherent in the original 1860 design. The feeding mechanisms in the spencer models are very sensitive to ammo type and overall length so manufactured ammo brands will work better if caliber standards are followed. Requires an FFL dealer to ship and your FFL dealer must be able to accept it from a non FFL seller.
